A Dad and Daughter Date

I'm attempting to catch up on blogging after working in Florida last week, so here goes...

Thursday, July 8, Dad and I went on a little date.  This is not the first date we've been on, nor will it be our last, I'm sure.

You see, we started these when I was in elementary school.  My neighbor was in Indian Princesses, which was some sort of outdoorsy thing dads and daughters could do together.  In theory, it was great.  But not long after our first meeting where we chose "Little Bear" and :"Big Bear" as our Indian Names, Dad made a proposition to me.

The whole point was to spend quality time together.  We could do that with 20 other people, or, he proposed, we could go on dates just the two of us.  Well, being a lover of quality time with people in small groups, I instantly chose the dates.  And we didn't have to camp or anything (a win/win for both of us, I think!)

So, back to our most recent date...

One of our favorite musicians is Marc Broussard, and he was playing at the House of Blues.  After dinner at Uncle Julio's (my fave!), we headed Downtown.

You'd think that with all the concerts of Troy's that we sat stood through, we'd remember that nothing starts when the ticket says, and there are always opening acts.  Well, we didn't.  So we had some nice bonding time waiting out in the heat, and then we finally got to go in around 7:45, where there were two opening acts.

We've escaped the heat and found our seats!

The opener for the opener, a Canadian girls group.

In between acts, we talked a lot of music.  I'm so grateful that my parents instilled a love for music in both me and Troy.  We aren't really coordinated enough to dance well.  We aren't very athletic.  But we can sing and appreciate good music, and for that I am thankful.

Marc Broussard came on stage about 10:30.  He was really great!  He has a great stage presence, and he writes great songs.  It was a fun time with my Dad.  Here's to more Dad/Daughter dates!

Black Tie Country

Last weekend was really fun.  Mary Ellen came to visit and Katie was in town for her sister's wedding.  We caught up over breakfast in Grapevine on Saturday morning with SMoo.  I think this picture looks like we went on an actual girls' trip to a fun, far-away place.  It was fun, but not too far!

Mary Ellen and I got our nails done and made a Target trip Saturday afternoon before getting all dressed up!  I LOVE getting dressed up.  Really.  My Dad had some extra tickets to a gala benefitting the charity that goes along with the Dallas Summer Musicals, and so I got to bring Mary Ellen, SMoo and of course, Adam.  :-)  I should've gotten a picture with her, but we ran into Lyndsy there, too!

My aunt and uncle and other summer bunch friends came, too, and Mark jumped in our photo above.  He is just so stinkin' funny.  Both he and Adam make me laugh so hard.

After the dinner, Blake Shelton performed.  We got to walk right up to the stage, and Adam and I danced to almost every song over on the side.  Loved it.

Me and my hot date!  Lookin' good in his suit & tie.

Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day!  We met up for dinner with the Flaggs and Papa and Jonita at Breadwinners.  {They have free dessert on Sunday nights, just FYI.  Yum.}  We sat out on the patio and had a lovely dinner together!

A Song for Sister

Sister by TroyCartwright

Today my brother posted a new song he'd recorded called "Sister."  After listening, I texted him and asked if it was about any sister in particular.  :-)  He said, "The only one I've got!"  This is seriously the best gift he could've given.

And I'm pretty sure this is pretty true to how he feels ("I don't have my head around it yet"), because when we called to tell him our good news, all he could say was, "Wow.  I can't believe it."

I love how he writes, because it's not how "normal" people think.  My favorite parts are in bold.

So here it is...

I don't have my head around it yet
But I'm doing the best that I can

So hold her up, when she feels like sinking
In all you white, I just can't believe it

Sister, I hope when you shiver
He gives you his coat and hes holding you close
through the pain and sickness
the health and the rich-es

And its all so beautiful
I just don't know what I'm so anxious for
Cause you used to hold my hand
and help me to understand
taught me bout Jesus
and how to believe it

So hold her up, when she feels like sinking
In all you white, I just can't believe it
Sister, I hope when you shiver
He gives you his coat and hes holding you close
through the pain and sickness
the health and the rich-es
Or how deep you're in it
your loves gonna fix it

The thorniest thicket
has spaces within it
and thats where the love is
thats where the love is

And if you ever get to thinkin'
its not enough, believe me it is
Trust your brother on this one

Sister, I hope when you shiver
He gives you his coat and hes holding you close
through the pain and sickness
the health and the rich-es

Deep Ellum Music

Troy is home!  We are enjoying having him here for the weekend.  {He gets President's Day off, lucky duck!}  After a bunch of us went out to a fun dinner at El Fenix, we headed over to hear Troy play at the Prophet Bar in Deep Ellum.  It was fun to see him in the same setting as many times before but without his band.  He did about a 40 minute acoustic show--it was great.

Adam was singing one of Troy's songs the rest of the night, so I guess it's catchy!
(I mean, I think it is, but I'm biased.  Ha.)

The weather is beautiful today, and it's been this way almost all week.  I think everyone is just soaking it up after spending most of February cooped up inside!  Hope you're getting to enjoy it, too.

Ice, Fire & Dynamite

We've had the TV on a lot around here the last 48 hours, glued to the weather station and then moving on to other shows.  Parenthood still is at the top of my list of favorite shows, and it's really the only thing I've liked so far.  However, Biggest Loser is pretty cool, if you think about how people are really making a lifestyle change in the way they lose all that weight.  Kinda neat to watch.

I've found a new group that I really like, thanks to Annie's blog.  Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors' new album comes out next week, and I can't wait.  I'd never heard of them until last night, but they are touring with Marc Broussard and Ben Rector.  This video of their song "Fire and Dynamite" makes me happy.  Check 'em out on iTunes.

We're on Day 2 of being snowed  iced in, and it's just peachy.  I'm thankful I went to the grocery store on Monday after work, because otherwise who knows what we would've scrounged up to eat around here.  Claire is well-stocked on Lean Cuisines, but I'm not so sure about those frozen lunchables.  :-)  I'm working from home and spend the majority of yesterday in my jammers, but after a workout today at our apartment gym, Claire and I decided to at least look presentable.  It's a nice feeling, even when you're not really seeing much of anyone!

SMoo ended up driving over for our Turkey Chili dinner last night, and once she arrived (quite frazzled), she announced, "That was probably the stupidest thing I've done in a long time."  She lives just about a mile from us, but the road between us was basically a sheet of ice.  She ended up staying the night, and we stayed up 'til midnight and had a little slumber party.  She stayed well into the morning, and we all had breakfast and hung out together.  It was like we all lived together!  So fun.

Who knows what the roads will look like tomorrow--it's not getting any warmer here, so I'm not sure about the ice.  I think it's fine on all the major roadways (from what I can tell on the news), but it's the little side streets that are still sheets of ice.  We shall see...

Hope you're staying warm and have power on this chilly day!

A Full Fall Weekend

Dear 5k, thanks for letting me kick your booty this weekend.  It felt good.  Dear Adam, thanks for circling back after finishing your race to run with me.  Running next to you never gets old...except for when I'm really tired.  :-)  And I really like this picture of us.  I think we'd make a pretty good three-legged race team.  Just sayin'. PS--I'm proud of you for winning in your age group.  You're a stud.

I'm pretty sure Adam was saying,
"Shay, go kick his butt. Don't let an old man beat you again."
This time, I didn't.  Thanks for the nudge.

Dear AMP, after the race you made pancakes and added special ingredients.  They were so yummy.  And when I asked for a Mickey Mouse pancake that turned into a Baylor Bear, I'm pretty sure it was the reason they beat Kansas that day.  Sic' em.

Dear Chef Sarah, thanks for planning a girls' night out.  Without your party planning expertise, we would've missed watching the DART train at Twisted Root Burger Co...

and Sara Bareilles in concert.  And that would've been a shame, for sure.

{Claire, Stephanie, Smoo, Me and Sarah}

Oh, Sara B.  You were a great entertainer and a wonderful musician.
Thank you for acknowledging that getting to do what you love for a living is a wonderful thing.

Dear Pumpkins, you make our apartment look more like Fall.
I loved getting goosebumps from the breeze as I picked you out at Whole Foods on Sunday.

How was your weekend?  Did it feel like Fall to you??

Memories Made With Music

Do you have songs that bring back instant memories?  We'll be sitting at a restaurant and my Dad will stop and tell us exactly where he was when he heard a specific song from when he was growing up.  It's one of my favorite things that he does.  Music has long been a marker of time for our family, and today was no different.

I knew as I was driving to Arlington that Maroon 5's newest album would always remind me of the day my Dad and I traded in my Tahoe for a 4Runner.  It was my graduation present {yes, from when I graduated 17 months ago}.

This purchase has not been delayed on account of my Dad, that's for sure.  Bless his heart, he's tried to buy me a car since January of 2009.  But I wasn't ready yet.  I searched long and hard, and test drove many a car.

This was my last hoorah, the "you're really off the payroll now, Shay!"  I wanted to make sure I could live with this decision for a good long while.  So I took my sweet time, and I couldn't be happier about it!

Today was really exciting, but also bittersweet.  I try not to get too attached to "stuff," but sometimes it's hard.  Mostly just because I have lots of great memories in my Tahoe--road trips to Austin, just for dinner during college, loading it up with fun friends, singing at the top of my lungs and not caring because no one else was in the car, and carting sweet little munchkins around in the summer, just to name a few.

My truck had Tri Delta letters and a Baylor sticker on the back.  It was a big day this past May, when I finally scraped off the old BU sticker to put up a Baylor Alumni one.  It may sound silly that it took me a year, but it was monumental.  I was ready to move on with life--a year  later.  I cleaned out my car and scraped my stickers off {again} this afternoon.  It was, once again, a big moment for me.

Dad came over to my place around 2, and we narrowed down and called various dealers about the available cars.  The one that met all my specifications was about an hour away.  {Between my wish list and my Dad's low-mileage specifications, there weren't too many to choose from.  I'm sure some of you are thinking, "Shay?  Picky?  Never..."}

Then we began our car ride over to the dealership, listening to Maroon 5 and Sara Bareillis' new songs.  And we talked.  And it was so fun.  We got to the dealership, and fortunately our car salesman was actually pretty pleasant and not too pushy.  I drove the 4Runner we'd come to look at and really liked it.  And then Dad negotiated.  I signed my life away on documents too numerous to count.

Here's how the conversation went in the office while taking this photo:

Dad:  Should we put the check in the picture?
Me: Um, sure, I guess
Dad:  It's kind of funny.  Can you put these on Facebook?
Me: Dad!  I can't put this on Facebook!  There's a dollar amount on that check!
Dad:  Ok, I'll cover it up.

So I made the check fuzzy and put it on my blog.  Go figure.

And finally I handed over my Tahoe keys.

We took a few pics with the new {to me} car, and were on the road again!  This time the first song was Troy's.  And I have an Auxiliary plug now to use an iPod.  I'm probably most excited about this feature!!

We made the trip back and met Mom for pizza, and then I headed over to babysit the cutest little boys.  We built a train track, and I put out lots of fires before brushing their teeth and tucking them in under their Star Wars covers.  Currently they are hopping in and out of bed, and it somewhat resembles the "Whack-A-Mole" game.  {I don't bop them on the head, mind you, but they just keep popping up!}

And now, as I sit in their living room writing this, everything is still and quiet.  The music of my day fills my mind and makes me smile.  It's been a great day with my Dad.  And I'm one happy girl.  And most of that has nothing to do with the fact that I'm driving a different car.  :-)

All roads lead to...

...Fall!  At least on the calendar.  Not exactly on the thermometer.  Here's a cornucopia of my thoughts for Fall...

Fall Recipes

I've been craving cornbread and chili, so I made that for dinner tonight.  It hit the spot.

Today on the Pioneer Woman this new recipe for Pecan Pie Muffins was posted, so I grabbed the ingredients while I was at the store, and they were so good!  The recipe only have five ingredients, which is always a plus in my book. (Six if you add chocolate chips, like I did!)

The recipe:
1 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
½ cups All-purpose Flour
1 cup Chopped Pecans (I used 2/3 cup instead and added 1/2 cup of chocolate chips!)
⅔ cups Softened Butter
2 whole Eggs Beaten

Preheat oven 350 F.
Grease your muffin pan (whatever size) or use the silicone cups. I grease my silicone muffin cups with Crisco or lard.
In a medium bowl, stir together brown sugar, flour and pecans. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and eggs together until smooth. Stir into the dry ingredients just until combined. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups. Cups should be about 2/3 full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool on wire racks when done.
Option: when you take them out of the oven, place a slice of butter on top and eat warm. You may also use walnuts instead of pecans.
Seasonal Music
I have a confession:  I've listened to "The Way You Look Tonight" ten times, according to iTunes...and I just downloaded it this weekend.  One of my all time favorite movies has always been "Father of the Bride,"  and I love the soundtrack.  This version is the one from the movie.  I used the Genius feature to create a playlist, and instead of similar songs, it pulled up Christmas music.  I just let it play.  'Tis the Season!  (Almost.  Maybe.  Ok, it's only September.  But a girl can dream.)
Fall Clothes
On another note, I got this Momism today in my email:
Wear your most comfortable shoes today.  It will make you feel good all over!
Ironically, these were the shoes I was already wearing.  I Don't suppose that falls into the category of "comfortable?"  While they're not recommended for the aforementioned grocery shopping, I was feeling quite chic.  Or something.  :-)
Here's to feeling Fallish!

A New Artist

I recently discovered a new (to me) artist, Brooke Fraser.  She's a singer/songwriter from New Zealand, and I really like her stuff.  I bought her entire album, "Albertine" just minutes after I heard it.  And that's saying something.

My favorite song right now is "Hymn."  I love the piano and violins.  Ah!  And it has been the prayer on my heart since I heard it.

"Hymn"

If to distant lands I scatter
If I sail to farthest seas
Would you find and firm and gather 'til I only dwell in Thee?
If I flee from greenest pastures
Would you leave to look for me?
Forfeit glory to come after
'Til I only dwell in Thee

If my heart has one ambition
If my soul one goal to seek
This my solitary vision 'til I only dwell in Thee
That I only dwell in Thee
'Til I only dwell in Thee

Totally Loving...

There are a few things right now that I thought I'd share with you that I'm really loving.

First, I read in Real Simple Magazine (my fave, ever) about StereoMood.com, where you can choose from almost 80 different "moods" and have a play list.  I love music, but I hate making playlists.  Currently, I'm listening to the "It's Raining" playlist (because it really is).  But there are other ones like "Romance" and "Spring Cleaning".  Check it out.

On that same note (ha!), I really love the iTunes Genius feature, where you select a song from your iTunes library and click the "Genius Button," and it creates a playlist with similar sounding songs.

And then...
{Baby Mr. K}

{Sarah & Troy last Saturday at Ozona's Restaurant}

{Troy and Me last night at dinner before he left for Hershey, PA}

In case you haven't caught on, all these photos have been edited.  :-)  Some are better than others, but I'm learning.  I have Photoshop on my computer from a class I took in college, but it really intimidates me.  However, the Pioneer Woman's Photography Site has "PW Actions" that are FREE, and you can download them and use them yourself.  With the click of a button, you can have several different effects.  It's great, and really takes the guesswork out of editing for me at the moment.  Just go to her link above, and on the right sidebar, click "PW Actions" for step-by-step instructions on how to get them into Photoshop.

And today on Fly Through Our Window, Darby did a little recap on her year-long study on Genesis.  I thought she did a great job in capturing what she learned throughout the year in her Community Bible Study group.  She listed one sentence for each week's lesson.  A great read, and I just love her blog anyways.  Take a look if you haven't already.

And who doesn't totally love the weekend?!  I'm so glad it's here.  Happy Friday!

How well do Yogurt and Zambia go together?

I went to choir last night with a bad attitude.  I really just didn't want to go.  I walked in about 20 minutes late.  But I'm glad I went.  Let me explain...

In January, our choir director, Todd, had new choir members stand up. On my row in the next section over, was a cute 20-something girl.  I made a beeline for her because I just knew we needed to be friends.  I LOVE sitting with "the grannies" (Papa's wife Jonita and her girlfriends) as they call themselves, but I'd been praying for a friend in choir that was closer to my age and just hadn't found one yet.  Enter Holly.

{Holly and Me at Yogurtville last night}

I went straight over to her and introduced myself.  Thankfully I didn't scare her off.  She was warm and personable, and we got to talking.  I love making connections, and I quickly found several.  I discovered that she works for Family Legacy Missions, and I know a couple people that work there, too.  Hooray for connections!  I told you I love them.

Well, we have developed a sweet friendship each week at choir, and she sits with me and "the grannies" in the Alto section even though she's really a Soprano.  Such a rebel.  Altos definitely have more fun.

Holly is so passionate about her job.  To her, it's a lifestyle more than a j-o-b.  I so admire that.  Family Legacy Missions runs camps for orphans in Zambia in the Summer.  Americans come for one or two weeks at a time to love on these children and provide a fun camp experience, and  most importantly, they share the Gospel and change the lives of so many children.  Family Legacy Mission makes this happen, and also provides tangible needs like safe housing, clothes, food and education for the children there year-round.

Now here's where the story fits together with Papa & Jonita and Holly:

{Holly and Bupe in Zambia last Summer...I took this off their website!}

Holly leaves for Zambia in 9 days.  This was her last choir practice until she comes back in August.  I wanted to catch up with her and also with Papa and Jonita since I hadn't seen them in a while, so we all went to Yogurtville for an after-choir snack. Jonita had never been, so I got to educate her in the ways of self-serve yogurt and toppings.  I think it changed her life.

We sat outside for about an hour chatting.  It was delightful.  And for that hour, we learned so much about Zambia and the people there.  Jonita and I asked her lots about this ministry, and to see Holly light up when she talks about Zambia is great.  But to me, the best part was watching Papa ask her questions and show genuine interest (not that he's disinterested in missions, by any means.)  It's amazing to me that two 20-somethings can connect with two 70-somethings over Yogurt and Orphans in Zambia.  I think it shows the awesome power of the Gospel of Christ.  I was bursting with joy when I left Yogurtville last night, and I just had to share it today.

Please join me in praying for Holly, the staff and volunteers that will be in Zambia this summer.  I can't wait to hear about it when she gets back

Need your help...

Well, I'm singing in a wedding this summer, and I get to be a bridesmaid, too.  My very first friend I've ever had is getting married, and she asked me to pick a song.  I feel like it's kind of a big job.

{Gentry, The Bride--Natalie and me at her shower a few weeks ago}

I got to sing at Gentry's wedding two summers ago.  It was so fun!  I love being a part of people's special day.  I sang "When You say You Love Me,"  by Josh Groban.

{With my sweet friend Amanda at her Rehearsal Dinner last August}

I was also a bridesmaid in Amanda's wedding last summer and sang a song called "This Day," by Jadin Lavik.

When my grandpa got remarried, Troy and I sang Stephen Curtis Chapman's song, "I Will Be Here."  Kind of old school, but I liked it.  It was the only time T-roy and I have ever sung in public together, besides Wednesday night youth group stuff.  There's just something really cool when siblings can harmonize together--I think it sounds extra-good.  :-)

One of my other favorites is Shane & Shane's "Hearts of Servants."  Allison and Cason had this at their wedding three years ago, and I have always loved it.  They just announced they are having their first baby, too!  Very exciting.  :-)

So, I need your help!  If you've heard a song at a wedding, or thought, "Wow, that would be a great song for a wedding," or had someone sing a song you loved on your special day, I'd love to hear about it.  I need suggestions!!

Entertaining THE Band

Well, this week sort of felt like a Spring Break to me--except I had to go to work.  Bummer.  Talk about culture shock--working your first Spring Break when everyone else is off.  It was especially challenging since the Roomdog is a teacher and my brother was home.  But I made the most of it.

And just so you can feel a part of this week, we alway refer to Troy's band as "THE Band," as if there are no other ones on the planet.  And you have to say it like "thuh band" not "theeee band."  Just sayin'.

I already blogged about it, but Sunday night was Troy's show, with THE Band.  It was fabulous, but you might say I'm biased.  :-)  Here are a few more pics with THE guys.

{Theo, Alex 1, Alex 2 and Troy--after their show in Deep Ellum}

{Roomdog's beautiful hand modeling}

 The stamp they put on your hand after paying was Martin Luther King, Jr.  A little out of date, perhaps, in March.  We thought this was funny.  It took about three days for it to wear off!  Crazy.

{The Biggest Fan}

Dad's face always looks like this when he hears Troy play or me sing.  Seriously.  It's pretty great to know that our parents back us up 110% and let us go for our dreams, however far fetched being a Rock Star may seem.  :-)

Monday & Tuesday nights, my dad grilled out, and mom made all the sides.  I walked in the first night to this:

{Red Meat, anyone?}

The steaks were delicious and we had chicken the next night.  THE guys were quite chatty at dinner, always offering up their opinions about everything.  Very entertaining.

{Yogurtville: a whole new world}
Dad, Theo, Alex 1, Alex 2 & Claire

Tuesday night, we took THE guys to Yogurtville.  They LOVED it.  It's all the rage here, and you get to fill your own cup with as many flavors of yogurt, then add toppings to your heart's content.  They charge by the ounce, so sometimes you get up to the register and are surprised at how much you spend!  I got a gift card for there for Christmas, so on Wednesday nights after choir I'll go there for a late-night treat.  Pretty great!

Wednesday night I went with Claire and some other friends to Primo's downtown--great Mexican food.  I got to meet Tony Romo there.  He's dating a girl I went to High School with, and I said hi to her, and then he was just kind of standing behind her and introduced himself.  When he said, "Hi , I'm Tony."  I wanted to say, "NO DUH!" But I kept my cool and didn't squeal until after they left the building.  I think.  :-)

{Love my T-Roy}

THE band left Friday, so Saturday night we had dinner with the four of us and my grandparents. (Are you counting the THREE free meals I got this week?  Love it.)  It was so fun just to hang out and all be together.  It was such a blessing to have everyone at the same table.  It made my little heart very happy.  Troy left at 6:15 this morning, so I said goodbye to him last night.  Kind of bummed, but I'll get to see him more at Easter, and I'm looking forward to that very much!

Later last night, Claire and I met up with some friends from Bible Study at Cowboys Red River in Dallas. We two-stepped all night and had a blast.  I'd never been there before, and it was great--not smokey, and they had a live band that played cover songs.  I only knew a few people, but guys just come up and ask girls to dance.  It's really fun, but quite a stretch out of my comfort zone!

And lastly, Sic'em Bears!  I am so stinkin' excited that THE Bears are in the Sweet 16.  It's not often that we get to celebrate a win, and getting this far in March Madness is really great--let's keep going!

I've been working on editing the photos from the show that my brother did.  I'll leave you with these for now...

Shut Down the City

Well, the city isn't shut down, but it might be, come Friday morning.  There are talks of two to four inches of snow headed our way. And we all know that any amount of ice and snow in Dallas pretty much shuts this place down.

From a personal standpoint, this is pretty exciting.  I mean, who doesn't love a good snow day?  But at work, we have a big Kick off Breakfast Friday morning that could potentially get cancelled and cost a lot of money and momentum.  It's not a great thing at work, but we'll see what happens.  The little kid in me is still hoping for a snow day!

"Shut Down the City" is also the name of one of my favorite songs of my brother's.  I was missing him the other day, so I pulled up his band's page here.  My other favorites include "Lovely Lady" and "Hold On."  Perhaps I am biased, but I love his lyrics.  Check it out.

And in other news, I made my first major purchase: a washer and dryer.  Yes, folks, it's that exciting.  I felt  little more like an adult after that purchase.  Strange how appliances can do that to you.

Dear Lady A...

Good morning bloggy world.  It's a good day!  Lady Antebellum's new album came out today, and that got me out of bed this morning.  (Not sure if that's a good thing, but I'm going with it...I got up!)  I'd had almost an entire cup of coffee from my little red coffee maker before I left my house this morning, listenting to my freshly-downloaded Lady A.  Usually I'm running out the door, debating whether or not to take the time to make it.  Totally worth it.  I think it might be a new routine.

Anyway, back to Lady Antebellum.  Definitely my favorite band right now.  (Really for the last two years, when they were still new.)  I think I like the fact that they were nobodies and now they've won Group of the Year.  They write their own music, which I really respect, and their lyrics...oh, the lyrics.  I'm such a words girl.

My favorite song right now is American Honey.  Here are the lyrics to the first part of the song:

She grew up on a side of the road
Where the church bells ring and strong love grows
She grew up good
She grew up slow
Like American honey

Steady as a preacher
Free as a weed
Couldn't wait to get goin'
But wasn't quite ready to leave
So innocent, pure and sweet
American honey

There's a wild, wild whisper
Blowin' in the wind
Callin' out my name like a long lost friend
Oh I miss those days as the years go by
Oh nothing's sweeter than summertime
And American honey

I love it!  I really like all the songs.  Thanks, iTunes for instant gratification.  Happy Tuesday.

Love, Lady Shay
